Description
This piece is also one of the narrative series. The story is about the relationship between the composer and the musician playing it. I was told once that “an interpreter is a traitor”. I tried to interpret a poem once and can understand what this idea means. But, I hope that is not always true or a least a composer would tolerate the pianist for their uniqueness. Especially when it comes to a piece of music like Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring by J.S. Bach for it will be interpreted many many times. As a painter, I just wrote out the first 11 measures, but you can try to play it if you like. There will be some problems; it turns upside down on the corners and of course disappears where I have taken it off the edge. Because the musical staff only has four full spaces, I added red and purple to get all the rainbow colors. But, that is only a partial help because as it turns it made me write backwards occasionally so I’m not consistent. Sometimes the painting just makes you rewrite the script. Also the word "piano" is included. I hope you like this.
