Artist's Description
This is an historical year, one which I wanted to document. One of the pandemic, Black Lives Matter protesting, intense debate on whether global warming is a threat and the year President Trump tries for reelection against VP Biden. For me this was the year that my husband had what doctors call at “cascade” medical condition. You don’t need to know about that, but it was a life and death situation. He is recovering, thank God. But, as a painter, not much got done, so this painting was finished in July of 2020. Only the second one in 2020. The words are (in box shapes) “boxed in by covid-19” and “Viruses change to survive. We will see what 2021 brings? May it be peaceful and safe.

With the help of the Wyoming Arts Council grant money she began to study with many incredible professionals as well as taking workshops from the Colorado Calligraphers Guild. In 1987 she became self employed and enjoyed doing great jobs like the Wyoming Governors Awards and Federal Marshals Proclamations. In 1993 she and her husband,...
