Artist's Description
This is one in a series of wordscape paintings I had previously not known I was doing. �Streaming�, �Sacred Friends�, Poem River and �Fusion� are too. �Sacred Friends� has another quotation over the scape part and even though I was happy with the painting, I realized the quotation was unnecessary. In this series I really do want the words to do their meanings. Perhaps non-English speakers can get something out of these as well.
The words in this piece are: sun, prairie, wind and a symbol for the water molecule, i.e. H2O in different positions. What do you think?

Lettering Art by Sid Freeman �After 20 years as a professional calligrapher, I found myself competing with the computer. This was not fun and slowly I worked back to my roots as a painter only this time using those magical sound symbols which make up our speech.� Receiving her MFA from the University of Wyoming and then working in advertising Sid Freeman became enamored with calligraphy.
