Description
After entering an calligraphy magazine art show and failing to get accepted, I read the editors comments. What he regretted to tell the applicants was that there were many good pieces of work which had copy-right issues. His advice to all was to get permission from authors when using quotations, use old copy-right material (like the Bible) and/or write your own words. Well, of course there could of been other reasons why I wasnt accepted, like they just didnt like my work. And I can live with that. But the pieces I did send did have copy-right issues. So in 2015 I tried again and actually try plan C and wrote my own words. I am not a writer so it was a real shot in the dark. But, YEA! one of my four entries got accepted. So, I am happy to say Interruptions will be published in the Spring 2016 Annual Edition of Letter Arts Review. And here it is.
This is another piece where I try to get the words or (word in this case) to do its own meaning. And I must credit my neighbor for suggesting tangle as addition and my good friend for sorting out the numerous lines of my own words to find the one which made the most sense. I think it takes a village to paint a picture.

"Art consists of limitation. The most beautiful part of every picture is the frame." .... Congratulations on your recent sale of an amazing work.
Sid Freeman replied:
Thank you. I am in big trouble if the frame is the most beautiful part since I use gallery wraps...I only hope it's my frame of mind that's the real eye opener.
