Description
Painting with letters is about: literature, metaphor, ideograms and self-expression. I think all art uses these forms in different quanties, even �literature� � the symbolic. In calligraphies� case it�s twice removed; it�s a symbol of a symbol (language). This nature makes it appear only connected to a particular culture and less universal; giving it a �poster� quality. Sometimes with a great deal of luck and beauty its companion, I hope that I can make symbols do their meanings and bridge that cultural gap. Prehaps this is a start.

Wow, Sid, this is gorgeous! And yes, even in the thumbnail and before I read your description, it gave me the feeling of international appeal, as if written in several different languages as well as the language of nature and flowing, bubbling water. I love it!!!
